Meet the herd

THOR — The Playful Protector

Thor is a big, lovable horse with an even bigger heart. He was born from a saved unhandled/wild mare. Born mostly white (which is unfortunate, because he is constantly covered in mud), he brings humour and softness to every session. Strong yet gentle, goofy yet grounding, Thor helps people relax, build confidence, and reconnect with trust in a safe, steady way.

Ideal for: confidence, easing anxiety, emotional release, reconnecting with lightness

PEACH — The Calm, Confident One

Peach is a registered bay-and-white paint horse with a calm, centred energy. She’s steady, unbothered, and walks straight up to people as if greeting an old friend. Peach helps clients ground quickly, rebuild emotional regulation, and reconnect with their own inner strength.

Ideal for: grounding, building confidence, boundary repair, emotional steadiness

BUG (BUGALUGS) — The Gentle Giant in Slow Motion

Bug is an ex-racehorse who has zero interest in speed anymore. Slow, steady, food-loving, and deeply safe, he is the grounding anchor of the herd. His calm presence helps people feel held, supported, and less overwhelmed.

Ideal for: nervous system down-regulation, early trauma work, easing overwhelm, building trust

HOLLY — The Survivor With Heart

Holly is a dun-coloured registered paint mare with a survivor’s spirit. She overcame very significant past harm through patience, care, and connection. Now she meets people with warmth and gentle confidence. Her presence resonates with anyone healing old wounds or rebuilding from difficult seasons.

Ideal for: trauma healing, grief, emotional safety, reconnecting with inner strength

JACKIE — The Resilient Grounding Force

Jackie was found injured and exhausted at the end of the line and gently brought into safe care. Through time and healing, she has become one of the most intuitive, emotionally aware horses in the herd. Jackie offers a deep sense of calm and safety, helping people regulate and breathe again.

Ideal for: grounding, trauma recovery, slowing down, stabilising the nervous system

ARROW — The Quirky Soul With Endless Heart

Arrow was an orphan foal, bottle-fed from birth, and often forgets he’s a horse. Full of quirks, affection, and curiosity, he brings lightness to heavy sessions and helps people reconnect to joy, spontaneity, and emotional expression.

Ideal for: emotional reconnection, easing numbness, sparking curiosity, supporting social engagement
